You will need:

• Yoghurt pot or similar
• Yellow and black paper (or felt)
• Glue
• Yellow funky foam
• Wiggle eyes
• Pipecleaners
• Scissors
• Tape
• String

Instructions:

1. Draw around the pot onto funky foam and cut this shape out to make the face of the bee.
2. Cut strips of yellow and black paper out, gluing these around the pot to make the stripes.
3. Carefully poke a hole in each side of the pot for the wings and one in the top to hang.
4. Loop a pipecleaner and insert the ends into the hole in the pot. Tape the ends down on the inside to secure.
5. Thread some string through the top hole in the pot and tape down.
6. Glue two wiggle eyes onto the funky foam face.
7. Glue around the edge of the funky foam face and press onto the end of the pot.
8. Your bee is now ready to hang! Use different sizes of pots to make a whole bee family!
9. As an extra idea why not make them using red and black felt to make ladybirds?
