This short film showcases some of the amazing work carried out during the Age and Creativity program ran by Play Resource over the last year. Six groups of older people, men and women from across Belfast, reminisced on the 1950s era and wove their stories and memories through a series of workshops with the help of three Play Resource artists.

This film features just one of the groups, City Way Day Centre, sharing with us their stories and showing off some of the amazing arts & crafts produced including; 1950s design, fashion, song and dance.  All of the artwork was brought together for an exhibition called Strut ‘n’ Stroll which was held in The Ulster Hall in March.

We would like to thank the Arts Council of Northern Ireland for not only funding this project but for all the help and support given to us throughout it.  Also, thank you to Northern Visions for making this short film for us and hopefully there will be many more to come.

So here it is…..make sure you check it out!
