You will need:
- Tissue Paper
- Ribbon
- Wooden Skewers
- PVA Glue
- Cord
- Double Sided Tape
- A plastic surface (scrap polythene etc.)
Instructions:
- Lay out plastic surface and select a few different colours of tissue paper to use. Rip the tissue into small pieces. Use PVA glue to stick tissue to the plastic.
- Roughly cover a square area of the plastic with a layer of tissue. Then do the same with the other colours of tissue. The more areas of tissue you do, the more hearts you can make.
- Leave the tissue to dry over night.
- Once the tissue has dried, carefully peel the sections of tissue off the plastic. Cut heart shapes from the tissue with scissors. Make several different sizes.
- Attach a length of ribbon to the top of each heart with double sided tape. Hang the hearts from a horizontal wooden skewer using double sided tape. Repeat with another skewer.
- Use cord to hang the skewers.
