You will need:
- A2 Green Sugar Paper
- Yellow Card
- Orange, Green, Pink Tissue
- Ribbon
- Scrap Card
- PVA glue
- Masking Tape
- Cellotape
- Poster Paints
- Glitter Glue
Instructions:
- Begin by making flower stalks. Cut a section of A2 green sugar paper, about 8 inches by 12 inches. Once cut, roll into a thin tube starting from one of the corners towards the opposite far corner of the paper. Fix tube in place using cellotape and repeat this process to make 5 more stalks.
- Next, cut out some circular flower shapes from yellow card, then cut a small line in the shapes stopping at about the centre of the flower. After this turn one of the edges underneath the other to make a cone and cellotape together.
- Tear off strips of orange tissue paper and use PVA to glue into the centre of the flower head. Once dry, add some decoration with glitter glue.
- After you have decorated all your flower heads, glue them to your flower stalks using PVA. Add a final touch by tearing off strips of green tissue, wrapping around the back of the flower head and fix in place with cellotape.
- Next, take a piece of scrap card, about 10 x 10 inches and roll into a wide cone and fix in place using masking tape.
- Colour in your cone using poster paints and, when dry, decorate using glitter glue.
- Finally, tear off a large square of pink tissue paper and place into the cone along with your flowers. Cut a section of ribbon and tie this into a bow around the middle of the cone.
