You will need:

• Wiggle eyes
• Pipecleaners
• Scissors
• PVA glue

Instructions:

1. To make the legs, cut a dark green pipe cleaner in half.  Cross the dark green pipe cleaners together in the middle to resemble the shape of an “X”.
2. Cut a light green pipe cleaner in half, then wrap it around the middle of the “X” created by the legs.  You should have five pipe cleaner  “spokes”.
3. Take your striped pipe cleaners & wrap the end of it around one of the legs  as closes to the centre as possible.
4. Start to weave the striped pipe cleaners around the legs and head in a circular motion going over one under one until the pipe cleaner is fully wrapped.
5. Once you come to the end you can either secure the extra length of the pipe cleaner underneath the shell or you can trim it.
6. Repeat steps four and five with two more striped pipe cleaners.
7. Fold the legs in half and twist to secure at the top near the shell.
8. Roll up the length of pipecleaner to create the head.
9. Use some glue to attach google eyes.
