Pinecone Prancer

You will need:

  • Small Polyring
  • Pinecones
  • Polyballs
  • Brown Fabric & Paint
  • Paper Hands
  • Red Pompom
  • Sponge Filling
  • Glue Gun
  • Ribbon
  • Card

Instructions:

  1. Paint a polyring, hands and a pair of cardboard ears with brown acrylic paint.
  2. Fill a section of brown material with sponge filling and push through the polyring (if you overfill it this will make it easier to wedge it in the polyring to avoid having to glue it into place).
  3. Glue pinecones onto the polyring, followed by the ears and hands as antlers.
  4. Glue polyballs on for eyes and a red pompom as a nose.
  5. Tie a bow with the ribbon and glue into place.

Simple Bell

You will need:

  • Paper Plates
  • Pipecleaners
  • Jingle Bells
  • Gold/Silver Paint

Instructions:

  1. Paint a paper plate gold on one side and silver on the other.  Leave to dry.
  2. Cut a small v shape out of the top of the paper plate.  Wrap the two cut edges together to form a bell shape and attach them together with a staple.
  3. Punch a hole in the top with a hole punch and thread a length of pipecleaner through it and down through the middle of the bell.
  4. Slide a jingle bell onto each end of the pipecleaners and twist to secure.

Sparkly Snowflake

You will need:

  • Microfine Glitter
  • Spray Adhesive
  • Cellotape Insides (SCRAP)
  • Silver/Gold Spray
  • Masking Tape

Instructions:

  1. Flatten 6-8 tape insides and join them together in a petal shape using masking tape.
  2. Use extra flattened pieces to add details to the snowflake.  You may need to cut some of these to fit.
  3. When you are happy with you snowflake take it to a well ventilated area and spray first with a layer of silver spray then with a layer of adhesive spray.  Sprinkle with glitter and add a length of string for hanging.

Ghoul School

You will need:

  • Polyballs
  • Lolly sticks
  • Pipecleaners
  • Plastic bag
  • Marker
  • Polysquare

Instructions

  1. Pierce each of the poly-balls with something sharp (be careful!), then place a lollipop stick in the hole until it’s secure.
  2. Take each poly-ball and wrap a section of plastic bag around it and pinch.
  3. Wrap the pipe cleaner around where you have pinched until tight. Do this for each poly-ball.
  4. Draw black eyes using the marker.
  5. Stick each of the ghosts into a polystyrene square, and arrange until the plastic bag covers it.

GREEDY GHOUL

You will need:

  • Polyball
  • Paint
  • Funky Foam
  • Google Eyes
  • Modroc
  • String

Instructions:

  1. Tape a piece of string to the ball to use to hang the ghoul.
  2. Cover the polyball with the modroc, wait until it dries and then paint your chosen colour.
  3. Cut out eyes and mouth from funky foam and glue on. Attach google eyes.
  4. Customise your ghoul however you want.  We made a spider on his tongue by gluing on a black bead and drawing the legs on with felt tip pen.

LITTLE BOX OF HORRORS

You will need:

  • Egg boxes
  • Paint
  • Pipecleaners
  • Google eyes
  • Varnish (optional)
  • Polyball
  • Model magic

Instructions:

  1. To make the bat cut out three cups from the box. Keep the long prongs on to keep the shape of the bat. Paint it black and stick on google eyes.
  2. Make the ghosts and the spiders by using a single cup from the carton. Paint them and add eyes. For the spiders legs simply push some pipecleaners through the side of the cup. Use two cups slotted into each other to make the pumpkin.
  3. For the horrible eyeball just draw or paint on the pupil, iris and the blood vessels.
  4. To make the gruesome finger just roll some model magic into a finger shape and bend it slightly .To make the nail shape a small amount of model magic and stick it on the tip of the finger. Paint the finger to finish it off.
  5. Give all the creatures and ‘things’ a coat of vanish. If you want you can label your box.

GREEDY SPIDER

You will need:

  • String
  • Pipecleaners
  • Tulle/netting
  • Felt
  • Glue
  • Acrylic paint
  • Glitter
  • Wiggle eyes

Instructions

  1. Paint ball of string using black acrylic and leave to dry.
  2. Take your eight pipe cleaners and fold to look like spider legs – place these in the centre of the string ball.
  3. Take netting and fold each outside corner towards the middle and glue down – messy folding will look the best! When it has set, glue the spider down too.
  4. Take each leg, secure them onto the web and glue down if necessary.
  5. Take sheet of felt and cut a small tongue from it, then glue it on top of some makeshift teeth.
  6. Glue eyes above the mouth (one lower than the other will make the spider look extra sick!).
  7. Make a mix of 2 parts glue, 1 part water and add a little mix of glitter for colour – squirt from the middle of your ‘vomit spot’ outwards; do the same with a few different coloured paints.
  8. If you’ve a glue-gun handy, use it to create webbing from Spidey’s legs.

HALLOWEEN GOBLIN WREATH

You will need:

o    Polyring
o    Orange Tulle
o    Paint
o    Black Paper
o    Polyballs
o    Feathers
o    Pipecleaners
o    Google Eyes
o    Wooden Skewers

Instructions:
  1. Cut strips of black paper and wrap around the polyring. Glue or tape into place.
  2. Cut strips of orange tulle and wrap loosely around the wreath.  Glue this into place.
  3. Paint and decorate various sizes of polyballs.  Attach google eyes and pipecleaners to create your different goblins (or use the polyballs to create creepy spiders). Push feathers into the wreath to add effect.
  4. Push wooden skewers into the back of the goblin and push the goblins into the wreath to complete your Halloween Goblin Wreath.

SPOOKY SPIDER MASK

You will need

  • Mask
  • Black Acrylic Paint
  • Black Pipecleaners
  • Tulle
  • Masking Tape
  • Black Micro Glitter
  • Glitter Glue

Instructions:

  1. Paint entire mask using black paint and leave to dry.
  2. Cut 8 legs from black pipecleaners for the legs and attach these to reverse of mask using masking tape.
  3. Cut 2 small squares of tulle and stick these on the back of the mask to cover the eyes.
  4. Swirl glitter glue over the surface of the mask and sprinkle over with black micro glitter.

EASY FUN PUMPKIN

You will need

  • Toilet Roll (full)
  • Orange Felt/Fabric
  • Green Masking Tape
  • Plastic Tubing (Scrap)

Instructions:

  1. Cut a square of orange felt/fabric approx 40cm x 40cm.
  2. Set the toilet roll in the middle of the fabric and wrap the edges up around the toilet roll and tuck the free edges of fabric into the hole.
  3. Cut a short length of plastic tubing and cover in green masking tape.  Press this into the top of pumpkin to create stalk.

SPOOKY LANTERNS

You will need:

  • Glass Jars
  • PVA
  • Tissue Paper
  • Varnish (optional)
  • Modelling Wire
  • Tea light

Instructions:

  1. Take a clean jar and stick pieces of ripped tissue onto it using the PVA glue.
  2. Cut out teeth and eyes from black tissue paper and stick over the coloured tissue.
  3. Once glue has dried, take a small length of wire and wrap around the rim of the jar to make a handle. If you want you can varnish the jar to give it a bit more shine.
  4. Once dry you can put in the tea light. MAKE SURE AN ADULT LIGHTS THE CANDLE!

We are looking for someone with a minimum of one years experience as an Administrator/Secretary, with excellent IT levels of literacy and excellent communication and organisational skills.
