You will need:

• String
• Pipecleaners
• Tulle/netting
• Felt
• Glue
• Acrylic paint
• Glitter
• Wiggle eyes

Instructions

1. Paint ball of string using black acrylic and leave to dry.
2. Take your eight pipe cleaners and fold to look like spider legs – place these in the centre of the string ball.
3. Take netting and fold each outside corner towards the middle and glue down – messy folding will look the best! When it has set, glue the spider down too.
4. Take each leg, secure them onto the web and glue down if necessary.
5. Take sheet of felt and cut a small tongue from it, then glue it on top of some makeshift teeth.
6. Glue eyes above the mouth (one lower than the other will make the spider look extra sick!).
7. Make a mix of 2 parts glue, 1 part water and add a little mix of glitter for colour – squirt from the middle of your ‘vomit spot’ outwards; do the same with a few different coloured paints.
8. If you’ve a glue-gun handy, use it to create webbing from Spidey’s legs.
