Dear Members I am writing to let you know about …

Dear Members

I am writing to let you know about some important changes in Play Resource which may affect your membership. In order to direct our resources into the development of the service, we are looking to cut back on time-consuming and largely unnecessary administration. In particular, we are spending a considerable amount of time on membership and invoice payments.

A few important changes are therefore happening which we believe will improve the service for all but which will need your support and co-operation

When your membership runs out of date you will not be allowed to collect from Play Resource. There will be no exceptions to this – so I would ask you not to put the staff under any pressure. It will be your group’s responsibility to renew.

Reminder letters are always sent out to this effect (giving one month’s notice) – so please make sure the person responsible for paying the membership is aware.

Better still – pay by Direct Debit from now on and avoid any delays.

From 8 May Invoices for shop purchases will be by direct debit only. Letters are currently being sent to those groups affected by this.

I would really like to take this opportunity to encourage you to set up your membership payment by Direct Debit. It’s so easy and hassle free and you can cancel at any time.

Kind regards

Anne O’Donoghue

Director

Black Marker

Glue Gun & Glue Sticks

Instructions:

Cut out a piece of cardboard in the shape of a ship and cut out, use this as a template for the other side, then cut this piece out as well.

Fold some card to form the bow and stern of Titanic, then glue the ends together. When the glue dries, use the bottom and top of the main body as a template. Cut out these pieces, then carefully glue to the top and bottom of your main structure. Cut off any excess card.

When the glue dries, cover the main structure with masking tape and paint with black acrylic.

Cut out four equal lengths of gold card, roll into a cylinder and glue the edges together. Paint a strip of black acrylic on one end of each cylinder and glue to the cabin deck.

Glue the cabin deck to the main structure and insert skewers at the front and rear of the model.

To complete your Titanic model, cut a piece of skewer, wrap a piece of tape around it, and colour in red. Glue this to the stern of the model for your flag, and VOILA!
