Instructions:

1. Make two different sized Pom Poms using the Yarn.
2. HOW TO MAKE A POM POM : Cut out two circles made from card. Then cut a slit to the centre and cut out a smaller circle making a doughnut shaped ring. Taking a length of yarn start winding it around the circles (wind the Yarn over itself to secure it). Tie it off when you have got to the end and fully covered the circles. Using a pair of scissors carefully cut through the Yarn between the gap of the two circles of card. Then take a 10cm length of Yarn and tie the middle section of the Pom Pom securely. Tie several knots. Gently remove the card and you’ll have a lovely Pom Pom! For the chick you’ll need a large and a small Pom Pom. Use a wire brush to fluff the Pom Poms out.
3. Stick the two Pom Poms together with double sided tape. Stick on the eyes and make a beak by folding a small square of orange paper. The feet are made by cutting a small piece of pipecleaner and wrapping it around a slightly longer piece. Stick them on with double sided tape. Pierce the feather into the body to make the wings. You could stick a small feather into the head for a funky hair do too!
